How I Use My Whiteboard: A Daily Planning Tool

As a Pinterest manager and digital product maker staying organized and on top of my daily tasks is crucial. That’s why I love my whiteboard – it’s become essential to my daily routine. In this blog post, I’ll share how I use my whiteboard to stay productive and focused and why it’s become one of my favorite productivity tools.

My whiteboard is a simple yet effective tool that helps me keep track of my daily tasks, goals, and self-care routines. It’s a large board hanging near my workplace, so it’s always visible and easily accessible. The 17″ by 23″ is my preferred whiteboard planning size. I divide my whiteboard into different sections, each with its purpose.

One of the most significant advantages of using a whiteboard is that it allows me to see all my important tasks and goals in one place. This helps me stay focused and motivated throughout the day. As a neurodivergent person, it’s helpful to have things out so I can see them. Additionally, having a physical board to write on helps me remember things better than if I were to type them into a digital planner.

Using a whiteboard has several benefits that have helped me become more productive and organized. Here are some of the key benefits:

  1. Clarity: Having all of my tasks and goals written out on the board gives me clarity on what needs to be done each day. This helps me prioritize my time and focus on the most important tasks.
  2. Accountability: Seeing my goals and income target for the month written on the board holds me accountable for achieving them. It’s a constant reminder of what I’m working towards.
  3. Motivation: Writing out a quote for the week or pulling a tarot card for guidance provides motivation and inspiration throughout the week.

How I Plan With My Whiteboard:

Each day, I write out my top three tasks on the board. These are the most important tasks I must complete that day to move closer to my goals. The top three tasks are written larger than everything on the board so that I won’t miss them. I also have a section for my income goal for the month, which helps me stay focused on my financial targets.

In addition to my daily tasks and income goal, I also have a tarot card pull for the week, a quote for the week, and a self-care tracker. These sections help me stay motivated and focus on my growth and well-being.

The keyword for the month is another crucial section on my whiteboard. This word represents what I want to focus on or achieve that month. For example, if my keyword is “growth,” I’ll focus on personal or professional growth throughout the month.

Overall, using a whiteboard has been a game-changer for me regarding productivity and organization. It’s a simple yet effective tool that helps me stay focused and motivated throughout the day. By writing out my daily tasks, goals, and self-care routines on the board, I can see everything in one place and prioritize my time accordingly. If you’re looking for a new productivity tool, give a whiteboard a chance!
